The WebBank/Fingerhut Credit Account works in a similar way to a credit card. You are extended a line of credit to make purchases, and must make a minimum payment each month on the account. Purchases that aren’t paid off in full right away will accrue interest.

You can:

  • Make purchases that you will pay off over a period of time. Each item is listed with a total cost and also a monthly price if you want to spread out payment.
  • Buy merchandise from Fingerhut using your line of credit even if you’ve been turned down by other credit issuers.
  • Build your buying power with Fingerhut by making purchases and paying them off in accordance with the account terms.

You cannot:

  • Make purchases at restaurants or stores that accept traditional credit cards like those issued by MasterCard, Visa and Discover. The WebBank/Fingerhut Credit Account is only good for making purchases at Fingerhut.
  • Transfer a balance from another line of credit. Fingerhut is not a bank and does not offer balance transfers.
  • Get a cash advance from your line of credit.
