Despite the high glorious pink glow that is the Victoria's Secret Angel credit card, there are some downfalls that come with it. For instance, this card can only be used in either PINK or VS stores. Outside of this, you will not earn points for purchases or services like spas and massages. Considering there are other cards that will earn you points regardless of where you spend, this is a huge setback. But if you're a regular, faithful client to the VS outlets especially during sales and free shipping breaks, then this might not affect you as much.
In addition to earning points only at VS and PINK, you also stand the risk of losing all your points should you not make a purchase with a 12-month time span. Once your card has been declared inactive, there is salvaging all the points you had earned previously.
If you are one who is strict on budgets, consider evaluating the interest rates on this card. it has an outstanding rate of 24.99%. A high rate as such might even result in negated rewards if a balance is carried forward. This is probably one of the worst disadvantages of the card.
