This benefit is sort of becoming a trend in the credit card industry. Just like many other cards, this card has no annual fee. As you probably noticed from the name plastered on the card, this Scheels card is in association with Scheels itself. Therefore, due to this, for every dollar you spend on Scheels purchases, you get three points. There is more, once you get to 2,500 points, you automatically get a 25 dollar Scheels gift card. The card also comes with a 1,500 points bonus for the first card purchase outside of Scheels.
When it comes to rates, the card offers a special financing for 6 months each time you spend 500 dollars or more. The ongoing interest rate is as low as 19.99% on purchases.

Scheels Visa Credit Card Drawbacks
Is it safe to say every silver lining has a cloud? I'm not sure either, but nonetheless, this card has its drawbacks, and one of them comes as an advice. This is not the best choice when it comes to purchasing large or costly items. Despite the reward system, this is considered a bit low, with in-store purchases at 3% and 1% for general purchases. If you do not qualify for a regular credit card and are offered a secured version of the card, you will be required to pay a security deposit to increase your credit card limit at which point the annual fees becomes applicable. Lastly, because this is a platinum visa and not a signature one, it falls short of special services such as replacement in the event of a purchase break or if stolen within 90 days of acquiring it. These are some of the factors to be considered during the application process.

First - 18.99% rate is high. Second- $15 sign up bonus is a meager. But I am satisfied with the service and all the other rewards, since I'm a frequent Scheels shopper.))
