There are two My Best Buy credit cards: My Best Buy Credit Card and My Best Buy Visa Credit Card. The fist is for in-store use and for shopping at bestbuy.com. The second card can be used everywhere. Best Buy Credit Card Benefits
My Best Buy credit card will allow you to earn 5% back on Best Buy purchases. If you are a member of their loyalty program with Elite Plus status, you will earn 6% back in rewards. If you do not wat to earn rewards and prefer paying off your purchases at 0% interest rate, then you can take advantage of the special financing (when available).
Best Buy Credit Card Drawbacks
First of all, the My Best Buy Credit Card is only accepted at Best Buy locations and stores. Next is, you won't be able to earn cash back and get 0% intro APR at the same time. You will have to choose between these two options. And if you prefer promotional financing you should be aware of these thresholds: 6-month financing is for purchases totaling $199 and up, and 12-month financing is for purchases totaling $399 and up.

I use Best Buy card all the time and never pay interest. Divide your purchase amount by the promo period and pay that amount each month. So I haven’t any problem with this card.
Use this card to buy laptop

I got this card when I needed to buy a new laptop, the financing options are very good. Sometimes the curent financing options can be a little bit unclear which can be pretty inconvenient. I've only had to contact customer service once and the experience was on par with what you would expect. Overall I like this card as it makes purchasing more expensive items less of a burden.
great card for frequent shoppers

this is a good card to use, if you are a frequent shoper at Best Buy store and want to accumulate some points for a new game or CD OR need to finance something at 0% interest for a varying period of time.

I like that, there is no foreign transaction fee, as I travel alot and rack up foreign fees on other cards that I use. I don't like that it doesn't have a smart chip because I am limited as far as using it while I am abroad..

I've had my card for almost 4yrs!! and have always paid on time and I asked for a credit line increase for the first time and I get denied! whats wrong&??? i don't understand..

The Best Buy credit card is a great credit card that gives individuals an opportunity to gain credit while they make big ticket item purchases. The rates and fees are comparable to most other major credit cards and this one even has a few perks and benefits that come with it. I'm a Best Buy Rewards Zone member and its great cause this card will allow me to gain Rewards Zone points just for using it!
